It is a pleasure to announce that the Geological Society of Malaysia (GSM) in collaboration with the Institute of Geology Malaysia (IGM) and Department of Mineral and Geoscience Malaysia (JMG) will be organizing the 34^th National Geoscience Conference (NGC) parallel with the 17^th GEOSEA Regional Congress 2022 on October this year!

Therefore, we would like to invite you to participate in this prestigious event. The details are as follow:

Date: 17^th – 21^st October 2022

17/10/2022: Pre-conference field excursion

18-20/10/2022: Conference days

19/10/2022: Mid-conference field excursion

21/10/2022: Post-conference field excursion

Venue: Langkawi, Malaysia

With the theme ‘Advance Geoscience, Advance ASEAN’, this conference aims to provide a platform in sharing the up-to-date and groundbreaking findings, discovering new ideas, and discussing scientific issues amongst the professionals, industry players from public and private sectors, as well as students. This is aligned with our goal to foster the exploration and development of earth sciences not only in Malaysia, but to the Southeast Asia region. The conference will be filled with technical talk and presentations by reputable speakers in the industry. To complement the main event, there are many exciting activities that will be organized which are short-course workshop, booth exhibition, and field excursion in Langkawi.
