JMG is an agency with the authority and expertise to direct mineral-related research, services, and investigations. Step-by-step evaluations of metal mineral resources, industrial minerals, strategic minerals, and energy minerals have been conducted so that the administration and development of the country's mineral resources can be carried out effectively and steadily. This is consistent with the fundamentals outlined in State Mineral Basics 2 and State Industrial Master Plan II. The results of this mineral resource assessment have the potential to pique the interest of more industry participants in order to design mineral exploration activities more effectively, further develop mining activities, and assist industrial entrepreneurs in reducing their reliance on foreign sources of raw materials. This valuation notice can also be added to the state's mineral inventory to aid JMG in providing solemn technical advice to public and private authorities regarding the design of land use developments to avoid the imposition of mineral resource deposition.
The findings of the research conducted as part of the mineral resource assessment operations that were carried out as part of the RMKe-11 development project have led to the identification of mineral sources that have the potential to be developed. Some examples of these types of mineral sources include gold, tin, iron, bauxite, silica sand, silica rock, limestone, and charcoal. The number of countries receiving an evaluation of strategic mineral resources like rare earth elements (REE), scandium, and thorium has increased to six. The identification and potential of these minerals in igneous rock melt layers is the focus of this research.
