Objective : ✓ To implement Digital Watermark for documents
downloaded from JMG Web Portal, Internet Applications
Rationale : ✓ Identify information source as that from JMG.
✓ Prevent unauthorized reproduction, distribution.
✓ Justify resources and effort put in to produce the
information, in line with intellectual property rights.
Expected Benefit : ✓ Identity, recognition, and credit for information downloaded.

43. Strengthen the Network Security Infrastructure

Objective : ✓ Enhance network security:
• Intrusion prevention, Gateway anti-virus, Gateway anti-
spamm, prevents unauthorized entry into network,
servers, remotely or internally. Related ports, network,
transactions, access authorization and monitoring.
Rationale : ✓ Currently dependent on Internet Service Provider (ISP),
GITN, to provide secure VPN. More security needed to
secure network as intrusion attempts detected, incidents of
unauthorized entries and malicious change to data.
Expected Benefit : ✓ Prevent denial-of-service, ICT resources being used by
unauthorized parties, compromised network performance,
data protection and integrity
