QUARRYdat and MINEdat: Mining /Quarry Management System (Monitoring And
Enforcement)
Objective: ✓ To provide data submission from mines and quarry
operators to department via online system
✓ Types of data submitted via online system:
• Accident reports
• Blast design reports
• Environmental monitoring such as ground vibration, air
blast, dust, noise, effluent discharge
• Monthly mines statistic, Borang RPLB 338
• Monthly quarry statistic, Borang PQB 338
✓ To provide online application for services offered by
department
✓ Types of application via online system:
• Operational mining scheme
• Letter of authority to quarry
• Theory examination for shot firer
• Practical examination for shot firer
• Shot firer card and certificate
• Complaint due to mining and quarrying activities
✓ To provide online data compilation from department state
office to Headquarter
✓ Types of data compilation via online system:
• Monthly mines statistic, Borang RPLB 338
• Monthly quarry statistic, Borang PQB 338
• Notification of mines opening
• Notification of mines closure
• Mines and quarry unit monthly activity
• Mines and quarry accident reports
• List and map of active mines
• List and map of active quarry
