28. Economic Mineral Statistic Database (EMSD)
✓ To key-in and capture mineral statistic data from JMG’s
state office to the database system
Objective: ✓ Direct link to other government database system/statistic
information like Statistical Department, MATRADE, Bank
Negara etc.
✓ Database for managing and integrating mineral statistic
Rationale:
data for effective management
✓ Monitoring the progress will be easier
✓ Link to the information will be easier and faster
Expected Benefit: ✓ All the department annual publication and country brief
(mineral sector)/speaking note preparation will be ready
within in the time frame
