1. Lithology Composite Log Application for COALDat
Objective: ✓ To get the general lithological details
Rationale: ✓ For correlation of the coal seams and comparation with
geophysical downhole log
Expected Benefit: ✓ Fast, cheap and easier to compare with other logs data
Stakeholder: ✓ NRE / Jabatan Mineral Dan Geosains Malaysia
✓ Other Ministries and departments
✓ State Governments / Local Authorities
✓ General Public

2. One Stop Center (OSC) Management Application
Objective ✓ Data from ENGEOdat / National Geospatial Terrain And Slope
Information Systems (NaTSIS) can be easily accessed to
facilitate preparation / comments for application on land use
development especially in OSC :
• The need of geological information for application on land
use review/comments
• Internally monitoring the progress of land use reviews and
comments
• To Record the application of land use comments and review
• Sharing information and data with Local Government
Rationale ✓ Managing and integrating all geological information for
effective land use management
Expected Benefit ✓ To speed up the comment and review on land use
development
✓ To assist department and local government in making
decision on land use development
